Oh yeah I graduated High School offically today. Anybody else that was a senior graduate today or sometime this week? I might post pics, I might not, cause all of you are perverted :)

Hito is transfering to USC and I'm going there in the fall. So we will be going there together.

Congrats....your my little girls age. Which USC? High School grades and the College you get into DOES not determine your future. You do! Bill Gates....Michael Dell...are a couple that come to mind.

Success comes from life choices and taking advantage of opportunities presented to you, not a piece of paper you hang on the wall. All the diplomas in the world will do nothing for you if you do not have true passion for what you do and are not willing to sacrifice to make your financial goals happen. The only reason to go to college is if there is no other way for you to develop a career in your chosen field.

If you want to be rich and there is no trust fund in your future my advice is avoid debt like the plague and save as much as you can as often as you can. Drive an old beater if thats all you can afford to pay cash for and live in an apartment with a roommate. Don't use credit cards, don't take out student loans, don't borrow money for anything. The more debt you accumulate the more likely you will never be wealthy...that is just a fact.

If you want a house start saving now and you will be able to pay cash for one in 10 years. Take out a home loan and the likelihood is you will just be making interest payments on that loan for the rest of your life. The vast majority of home loans are never paid off unless its due to a resale of the house or a refinance of the loan. In either case all that happens is home "owners" just pump endless interest payments into greedy banker's wallets.
