lol Reborn you know all harmful bacteria is destroyed once the temperature gets above 140 degrees Fahrenheit right? You have nothing to worry about with steak. It's pork that i'd be more careful with, but steaks are fine cuts of meat my friend.

My best was I finished my 24 ounce porterhouse and more than half of the ole lady's 24 ounce without touching anything else but beer. I have yet to find a steakhouse in Michigan that has anything bigger than a 24 ounce thats worth my time. I ate a 2 lb burger in Harbor Beach one time. They called it "The Hubcap". It was F*CKING gross but I ate it.

i like my steaks rare to medium rare. i haven't tried them blue yet but i'll probably do that for my birthday this year.

anything past medium on a good cut of beef is a waste of meat.
also salt and pepper to season when you grill it serve with a nice au jus or a demi glace and your good.


just to be safe any flavor actually is still in the meat.

i mean i tend to go medium well on burgers because ground beef tends to not be treated well but i've fabricated loins myself and they tend to stay in cyrovac bags untill they are cut and then served fairly quick.
