Hardly a waste, I mean I will get to enjoy playing OoT remake with Master quest in it later in Summer in 3D!

5 hour max battery life unless you buy the Nyko add-on.

Another 3D product...meh. I hear they have a 2D switch on it, so I guess that's ok.

That what I said until I saw it in person and holy shit is it ever amazing.

Especially the AR card where mini game pops out of the screen when the camera is looking at it directly and the fact you can circle around it and see the behind is pretty F*CKING amazing for handheld.

Btw, its 2 hours if you uses the 3D for whole time but that's no big deal seeing that I usually plays it on my lunch and recharge it after work.

I am a life long Nintendo fan...and i have to say that the 3DS is really disappointing. Yeah, the 3D is cool and the AR games are definitely engaging....but wheres the killer app? Wheres the launch games that make me really want to buy this thing? "Duuuude, OoT is comin and Star Fox!" Well that's awesome, except that I played those old ass games 10 years ago. I'm sick of nintendo thinking that remakes are fine. They're only OK when you have new cool shit to back it up. A submarine simulator does not even come close btw.

OoT will have Master Quest included for those who missed it when pre-ordering windwalker which is insanely harder dungeon in OoT, so I'm looking forward to that.

The apps will be coming shortly, think they said in June you will be able to download GBA/GB titles onto your 3DS. Hoping for Link to the past and Advance wars series for it, maybe bomberman because I really do miss playing bomberman.

I decided to pick up Ridge Racer which I never got a chance to play the series, so its a first time into it and I also picked up Pilotwing resort. I'm little bit disappointed with it but I guess I just got spoiled with N64 and Super Nintendo when it came out.

What I would really really really love to see is Blast Corp for 3DS, it would be insanely sick if Nintendo got Retro to make it. BOOM SHITS FLYING OUT OF THE SCREEN INTO YOUR SCREEN WHILE YOU'RE CAUSING MAYHEM.

Yeah, I'm not saying that the 3DS isn't a sweet little machine, cause it definitely is...I just think that this launch is extremely underwhelming. This system has so much potential, and to not show it's true colors at launch is a crime. I mean I don't think any of the launch titles even have online capabilities. If nintendo pulls this half-assed online shit again, I'm gonna jump ship.

SFIV does have online but apparently the connection sucks ass. It seems like they're going in the right direction with online on the 3DS, I'm just afraid they're not gonna do anything with it. (i.e. lack of good multiplayer games, lack of a good system for linking up with friends, etc.) With Nintendo, there's a very high chance that anything that can be screwed up with online, will be screwed up.

Those articles are really depressing kwang. Back in December I was so sure I was going to get a 3DS. As of right now I'm not even thinking about it.
