I watched the first video, as did my wife. We saw some things that made you think, hmmm...We researched a little bit and it makes one wonder what they really believe in, then, in turn, it makes you question your own belief system. Do you follow the belief of your parents and the whole society? Or, do you break off the path to say, "This is what I believe now..." Or, do you make sure that the guy was correct in what he was saying. Most of the first one has been debunked and reaffirmed in one way or another. Yet, here I sit, wondering....hmmm.

This one, well...I think it's a bit unrealistic. I watched the whole thing with my wife. We discussed different aspects of the whole and made comments to each other about, yes, this might work, or, no, this won't work.

The truth is, it would take a total economic meltdown and worldwide food/water shortage for these things to be taken seriously. Until then, nobody will listen. Even then, people will still try to make money or get some monetary means out of the meltdown. Then again, something this extreme may never happen...but if it does, I'm sure that a stage III is already in effect.

It was a little bit unrealistic about the whole Utopian world. Also, people should be held accountable for their own actions and crimes. You can't say (as a blanket statement) that people will conform and do "what is right" because they live in a perfect world. No, someone will always try to lie, cheat, steal and kill for what they really want. I don't see a way for our society to function without the "wants" of the whole. It would take a huge paradigm shift in order for us to get out of thoughts like this. I don't see it happening.

You would have to do like he said. Wipe the slate clean, and start over with no memory of our current existence. Then you wouldn't want to do any ill and wouldn't have any competition with other people.

So, in the end and out of fairness, I watched this whole thing. I welcome your replies.

Paradigm shift, yet can be achieved at the nexus of human consciousness evolving collectively to that point. It just takes things shifting into that space.

I believe that people are gradually getting to that point where the current system no longer does it. Unfortunately the people who have the most control over our systems and life (through ownership or military control, or otherwise) don't want that change to occur and will do whatever is in their means to prevent it from happening. Or in lieu of preventing the system from changing, will usher us toward a change that is even more favorable to their causes and wants.

And you are retarded for not having watched it but giving a value judgment based upon your opinion of a video that was focused on highly controversial and nearly impossible to peacefully discuss topics.

I finished that new Zeitgeist movie today, and have come to the conclusion that the producer of the film suggesting that all of life's woes would be solved through resource-based economics and the entire computerized mechanization of production and supply is a little far-fetched because although it is mentioned that the mechanization of the entire manufacturing sector is a foregone conclusion there is no mention of what people are going to work at when all their inherent talents suggest is the ability to produce things from raw materials.


A lot of the ideas would work but there are too many impossible parts, without the conversion of billions of people into believing that computerization and technology are the way to go for everything.
