3d isn't worth it on TV buddeh. Those glasses will give you a major headache etc. Just roll out one of the vizio LEDs. Those things are sexy as hell.

I have to agree. In the beginning I dismissed the brand name because it's not really well known, but I saw some (properly calibrated of course) vizio LEDs and was blown away :D

Since 3D tv's are still in the beggining stages, you might as well wait until you have better options since currently they are limited. Something awesome is going to come out and you'll regret not waiting for it. They were talking about this same subject on the radio this morning. The International Consumer Electronics Show is going on in Vegas, and they are talking about some pretty amazing things.

I wasn't going to get a 3D, but for $2100 for the complete bundle, there is no reason not to. BTW, the Vizio 3D LED is the same price as the Samsung for this deal without the glasses and blu-ray being included.

Grats on the new rig, any plans for overclocking? :) I always enjoy building a new rig and seeing how much over the standard you can push it all while keeping that tempature down! Hope it is working good for you, btw did you decide to load it up with Windows 7?

I've been keeping an eye on the CPU temperature for a while and it's getting kinda high on its own. It's at like 85-90C after a couple hours of playing BC2. I'll probably have to upgrade the heatsink to something pretty boss before I can overclock it too much. I'll likely overclock the memory and GPU pretty soon, though. The CPU can wait a little.

So the built-in overclocking thing sucked; did it manually. Here's the before and after: http://3dmark.com/compare/3dm11/410254/3dm11/410593

43 is the top temp on it -- I can't get it to run any higher with stability. Any higher and the driver crashes.
