I kinda only want it so I can just lounge in a jeep and listen to tunes, but BC2 just makes it sadface.

You're just mad cuz you don't know the best hiding spots. Snipers are so easy to outsmart, but people just decide to keep runing in obvious spots, shoot in open areas, and then, when they get killed by one so many times, they're all like : OMG sniping is so gay, I get killed and there was no way to kill me...

Know your maps better and you won't whine anymore about them.

Actually LeCoq, I heard the sniping is going to be very limited in Vietnam. Supposedly there aren't nearly as many open straight shot areas. Sorry to burst your bubble. My sources: http://pc.ign.com/articles/114/1140476p1.html

If your good at sniping open area's dont matter if you are half way decent at these games in general you never stay in open areas very long regardless.

Hell I'm just glad there's no gay quick scoping and that sniping actually takes a fair amount of skill now. Plus the gravity is pretty awesome

heres some advice. NEVER believe shit like that. Why? There will always be someone that found out a way to make something gay. It may look like that in the article but give a 12 year old a mic,a rifle, and some time and hell find a spot to gay you up.

Yeah, Codeman, open areas are where the really bad snipers camp. It's as easy to you to find people as them to find you. You gotta find spots really far, and where you can see just a few, but where it's really important to cover.

Remember "White pass"? Full of trees, with 2 long clear way to snipe. If you wanna fail and get killed fast, snipe where there are no trees. If you wanna be useful, find yourself a spot where you can snipe the objectives (if someone wants to defuse it, or arm it), if they're in a house, blow the shit out of the house (airstrike), if destroying the house destroys the objective, blow the wall.

You can also snipe for side roads, since people are really dumb most of the time, they rush on side road instead of the sides of the maps and the complete middle.

Not claiming to be the best sniper out there (shit no) But it happens more than often that I get 2000-3000pts (with the sniper only) games with like 1-2 deaths. I pretty much know how to ruin your gameplay :P

+ my favorite maps are White Pass and Laguna Presa. Close combat is where it's at. There's only one map (africa harbor) where I'm fully visible everywhere. But I got used with the fact that people are way too dumb to look in the most obvious spot in this map. I usually get like 20-30 kills without a single death... Dumb people.

I got a GeForce 8600GTS and I'm running pretty much everything on high/medium for some.

You don't need the topnotch graphic card to run graphics in BC2, the single player is a lot more laggy if you want higher graphics (I can't play singleplayer at high, only at low/medium) but multiplayer is a bit lighter, you can play it easily at medium high imo

Both I was choppy in BFBC2 on the regular game play so I will have to F*CK with the settings I think im just gonna buy a new card. I just bought a GeForce GTX 460 Overclocked 1024 MB GDDR5 PCIe 2.0 Graphics Card. So that should play everything fine with no problems.

You ever try medic? I love it. You get thousands of points so easily and the guns are pretty good too. But keep in mind Lecoq that Bad Company isn't about KDR, it's more about your win/loss ratio.

Dude, for a win/loss ratio, it depends on the team as a whole. Even if you're the best F*CKING player on earth, if your team is a complete bag of idiots, you'll still have a bad win/loss ratio. Skills is all about KDR.

As for the medic I tried it, but I really don't like big automatic weapons like the m249 and all that crap. I like fast shooting weapons, or long range ones. I play from time to time Assault when my team isn't rushing on the objective and I get lucky enough to have a squad following me everytime when I switch to assault. But I'm 95% of my battlefield time on Recon.

Wish I'd still have a computer to play though..

My recon kit

Weapons
GOL Sniper Magnum (100% precision and doesn't leave a white line behind like the M95)
MP-443 Grach (Fast, not really accurate, but not the worst)

Gadgets
Motion Sensor
Mortar Strike

Specialization
12X Optical
Advance Spotting Scope
Ammo Hip Bandolier
