It's been over a year since I applied to this community. Not once have I regretted my decision to do so. You guys are a conglomeration of some of the best people I know. This community has been a blessing to me in more ways than one. It has been an outlet for me to turn to when I needed someone to talk to. It's given me laughter, smiles, warm fuzzies. It's also expanded who I am as a person. I know I haven't met many of you in person, but that time will come. I'm in a rough place right now and I'm trying desperately to pull myself out.

When I was first joining I know I pissed a lot of you off, Goodkat, Gin, especially you two. Sorry. I hope I've proven to you that I am a contributor to this community. I love this place. I would have been lost last year had it not been for this place. Strange, you are the F*CKING man. You've been there for me, and that is appreciated beyond belief. I brag about you guys to my friends every once in awhile. You are some weird motherfuckers, but I think that's why we mesh so well as a community and why we have so many members and users. You would be hard pressed to find a closer internet community. I mean shit, I was actually worried when Rok said he had to get his head scanned, and when American Soldier was all up in the hospital I checked that thread for updates regularly. Y'all are real important to me, and I can see via how we interact that I'm not the only one who feels that way.

This place is a place where I can truly be myself and fit in fine. I could go for hours on how n00bfest has given me good times, suffice it to say gman's stories when he starts "so I was F*CKING drunk as hell this one time and I had 8 life vests..." or "Yeah nigga, SHIT!" yeah, you guys are F*CKING hilarious.

Not only do you guys make me F*CKING laugh, but you're not stupid. It's not like a elitist club. Y'all are down to earth. You understand what the hell is going on, and you're not afraid to voice your opinions on it. For that I respect you. I feel like I owe a lot of my maturing as a person to n00bfest. I'm sure if you look through my posts you can see a change over this last year where I went from that annoying little F*CK to someone who can actually contribute to a conversation, has opinions and can handle his own. You guys are like brothers to me. You've influenced me (for better or for worse) and made me into who I am. I can say honestly that you guys have had more of an effect on me as friends over this past year than anyone else I have met.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're here, you're blessed by a group of people who care about you. Don't F*CK it up. Don't take it for granted. You are my best friends. Keep this place going.

of course hooker we feel the same. and to your statement about watching you "change" in this last year, i have noticed, and, personally, it's been great for me to see. i love reading these posts, because the brotherhood we have here is very unique. sure we have our own little dysfunction and mini bitchfests, but that shit ends quick and we have great make-up sex.
