I make decent money and live like a poor white person. I don't buy anything new if its available used with the exception of furniture & underwear. My truck is over 10 years old and is more reliable than most newer trucks. When shit breaks I fix it. If I don't know how to fix it I google it. If it can be fixed or made from scratch I'm on top of it. If the ol lady would let me eat ramen noodles everyday I would, shits good & cheap.

Load up on student loans. It's better to be 100k in debt than broke off your ass. At least student loans have a reasonable interest rate when compared to credit cards or any other kind of loan you can get. Also, you don't have to pay them back until you're done with school.
