I just got my new liquid cooling CPU heatsink this week and it is AMAZING!!! it is the CoolIT ECO A.L.C. It was really easy to install, and cut my cpu heat in half. With my Coolermaster V8 my cpu ran, on idle, between 50 and 60 degrees celsius. with the CoolIT heatsink it runs, on idle, between 25 and 35 degrees celsius (and i havent seen it go over 38 degrees celsius while i was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2). Only $71 from newegg with $1 shipping, which is in the same range as high end air coolers, and it works sooooo much better. It is a fully enclosed liquiad cooling system. it comes fully set up and ready to put in. It works with Intel 775, 1156, and 1366 out of the box, with amd AM2, AM3, and AM3+ support. It is the best heatsink, i highly recommend it to any1 looking to upgrade/replace their heatsink. O, i am using the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 at stock 2.66MHz.

hell yea it does. i was looking at getting the CoolIT vantage, the higher end one cause it will have software to control it. but the software package will cost $80 over the initial $115 for the vantage. such bs.

yea, ur first link is it. i highly recommend it. my buddy just got the corsair h50, which is basically the same concept, but from corsair. i just asked him to let me know what he thinks of it once he can (he wants to test it some moe b4 making a decision).

idk anything about the zerotherm nirvana, but i had the coolermaster v8 with the fan at highest speed and it never went below 50 degrees celsius, and i have used many zalman heatsinks with very similar results as the v8. the coolit hasnt gone over 38 degrees celsius, even while playing bc2 for over 6 hours straight yesterday. and it is almost silent.

So it's kinda like an H-50? I had two, one in each PC and never ran into problems...that shit pwns.

the h70 does look really nice. but im not sure if the h70 or the coolit vantage is better. the vantage has the ability to upgrade with the maestro, which allows for software control over it, and it has an lcd on the heatsink that has all the info and custom colors, kinda useless for most people, since i dont think many people look inside their case unless they are changing parts or cleaning dust. idk much about the h70 tho.

I say.............get custom loop for 50 bucks more and ur temps will be even lower!! :P

yea, i was looking into that, but i have never done liquid cooling before, and i just thought this would be a good first step. when i upgrade to a new cpu i will reconsider upgrading to a custom water cooling system.

I kept them in Fahrenheit...it was like 5 over whatever room temp was on AMD Athlon x2 64bit 6000+

See, I was two inches form doing that..but I didn't want to F*CK the pump up...Prolly should have looked up the pump specs...my GT260 would've loved some water
