If you're replacing the 1.0 version with the 1.1, all you need to do is replace/overwrite the files when your extractor asks!

n00bfest GUI v1.1

Directions:
For manual installation, extract the foler to your counter-strike directory located in
(X):/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/yoursteamname/counter-strike source/

If you run a x64 bit OS, the directory is:
(X):/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/yoursteamname/counter-strike source/

This will also require manual removal as well.
To remove the GUI, remove the following files from these directories:

materials/console/background01.vtf
materials/console/background01_widescreen.vtf

resource/ClientScheme.res
resource/cstrike_english.txt
resource/GameMenu.res
resource/gameui_english
resource/ui (Remove this folder)

scripts/hudanimations.txt
scripts/HudLayout.res
scripts/titles.txt

Acid, i F*CKING love u man. This shit is F*CKING amazing!! Cant wait to get home tonight and install this.

The only annoying thing is that ill have to uninstall it cause im using a 64-bit OS, right?? But its no big deal.

My favorite part about this update is the added graphics settings!!

No, you won't need to uninstall it. Just overwrite it. In other words, copy/paste the cstrike directory that's included in the download to your cstrike folder. That easy!

rexxer, the top half, what says "Team Selection Screen" is all that shit you see when you hit "m" to change teams, or just after the motd, at the bottom.

And I don't see the bottom half, what's under the options menu.

wat does the team selection shit do? I dont understand...help me, lol

Say you're playing a match on Contra, find contra on the list. K.
Now, It's your first match, so you're on the top row. Check.
You had to sub in for whatever reason and are on the second half, look for the thing that says "H2" (I believe, my memory escapes me now)
Click that button, now you are record for a match on contra for second half. Check console, and the output is:

record contra_calmatch_half2_match1
recording...


And bam, you have a demo rolling, so just hit the "stop recording" button on the same menu and you're finished! (Also, acid's sig does induce much lol's)

So when I tried to download it, it's an RAR file. No exteract option when I right click on it. When I try to open it, it opens with itunes ? Any ideas on what I need to do ?

I prefer 7zip, but WinRAR is pretty good as well...I think WinRAR throws up an annoying license reminder after awhile, but its been quite some time since I used it so not sure if it still does it.

With the new GUI is there a way to run the video stress test, since the option has been clearly removed from the starting screen?

Anyone try the GUI with the orangebox update? Does it work?
