Idk High speed. Ghana is actually pretty good. They have some talented guys up front. Algeria could have beaten them with some quality chances. Like I keep saying, the US d needs to sharpen up now.

The us should do fine if they don't get every other goal called back.

I was watching the world cup and saw that THE U.S.A. BEAT ALGERIA! We move on to beating Ghana... lets hope we can do it this time. CHYEA!

Stupid Ghana AFRICAN AMERICANS

Was a great game to watch, Ghana is a great team that took advantage of a single hole in defense, never saw a team yet in the World Cup try to play as hard as the American did in the the 30 minute overtime.

americans played well. Ghana took advantage of the wings and came up with some quality chances. I saw this coming in in the Ghana vs Germany. They attacked germany so hard during that match, forcing philip lahm to make these great defensive plays, stopping potentially dangerous scoring chances. The goals were great and they deserved the win.

My biggest gripe about the Us soccer team is that they didnt get the chance to hire Jurgen klinsmann, the great german soccer and manager. He took a german team with young players all the way to the semi finals in 06 only to lose late in extra time to italy. The style of attack he used was a mixture of a strong german style and american from spending time out in california. If had he not declined a contract the americans would have had a better attack producing more goals backed by a strong well oiled defense.

tough match yesterday, Bocanegra pussed out of that challenged on Gyan - he bumped him, but then didn't cut off the angle, instead he kept jogging. I'm sure the fact that he had a yellow card aided in the decision.

I think Bradley (Bob) did an exceptional job with this team. I hope he remains the coach, but wouldn't be surprised if the politics got in the way and a non-American coach was hired. The only problem during this WC was lack of Edson Buddle. He really should have been placed in the starting eleven instead of Finley - who can't shoot for shit. If Bradley's aim was to place speed against Ghana's backline - that was an unfortunate because Ghana is ridicoulously in shape as is. Finley isn't that fast anyways.

Anywho, good stint of a WC - I can wait another 4 years.

England was never going to win that match. Argentina will beat Mexico today and if Germany can beat them in the next round, I think they will go all the way.

Yes USA got far this year and it will help Americans and even the rest of the world likes US soccer just a little bit more plus the US National Soccer ORG is getting about 250 Million for this so it will help soccer Grow and help younger talent for the future of American Soccer YEAH!!!!!!!

the USA is in contest to hold the 2018 or 2022 world cup and Kansas city is one of the 11 cities to be picked if it's held here :) but USA needs to fix their midfield and def. To many holes and way to much space. Also I know our goalie is good but he couldn't stop some pretty decent goals like the one yesterday on the near post he shoulda been able to get that one. To me they made so much news out of Howard that he didn't live up to it and only stoped some easy ones that came towards him or the corner kick saves which were good. Also USA wasn't playn great at all yesterday couldn't keep the ball some bad passes and even couldn't tell distance where the ball was gonna land.

Argentina vs Germany...That will be a great game.
