It's a South African thing, occured all the time during the Confederations Cup as well as the African Cup of Nations. After a while it just sounds like buzzing of the bees.

I will say the ceremony was a great sight. You gotta love Africa, man. I've lived there and it's great to see how extremely passionate the entire country is of a sport I love.

I think you guys have forgotten Spain, they won the Euro championships and they do host a very strong team. I think this years WC will be comprised of Spain or Argentina as the winner. Brazil used to have a great team but they won't make past the semi's.

I like Spain, I'm not sure why I don't believe they will go as far. It's not like they are underrated at all. As for Argentina, strong group, defensive formation has been suspect though - although the substance that is Maradona always brings on a whole other element to look out for.
