Is anyone going to watch the FIFA World Cup? Any predictions? Comments?

I'm going to try to catch at least a few games, I always root for Germany, figures.

Im hoping USA beats England, God knows that US > England.

USA is going to lose, but hopefully they'll beat England.

Well Im of course Going for USA all the way they will make it to the Quarter Finals but I think Italy or Brazil will win the whole thing I really though Argentina would do good but they barely made to the world cup they have Messi and a couple other greats but yes I will DVR every game and watch it while I play CS the sport is awsome but slow at times I can always rewind it when there is a goal scored LOL

Tazz, I don't think Germany is going to do very well without Ballack.
England will not lose to the USA.
I want to see how well Ivory Coast will do, I think they have the strongest African team.

Brazil will win. They have a very strong young club. Argentina will do pretty good but it all depends on Messi. USA WILL NOT beat England on saturday because the USA team is a bunch of Failures, they might make it to the knockout rounds and even then they will lose. Landon Donovan is their Golden Child and hes horrible. Ongyewu is their best player. Germany will do well without Ballack. dont expect a another cup but they will do well with Lukas Podalski at the front. Spain is in disarray and i dont see them going far, maybe quarters.

There is alot of bug named injuries this world cup which is very disappointing but ohh well. It will still be an exciting World cup.

so will the USA go all the way I doubt it...prob be brazil and italy but wil USA beat england there's a really good chance they will from the team I'm lookn at and what you all are but they've done pretty well gettin into the world cup with gettn to the finals in the confederation cup. So I do beleieve the USA will get to atleast knock out rd if not semifinals. But actual finals will prob be brazil and italy or germany perhaps

I'm not a fan of any Latin American teams so I won't even comment , lol.
I really like Drogba as well and hope they do well. I also really like France. My Mom was born there so I have to represent them. They are going to have a bit of trouble making it far because of Henry not having a great year, but hopefully their new formation will help them out. They usually play well under pressure in the big events, even though the struggle to make it to them.

Turkey is out this year so I could give a shit what Wanker team pulls this shit off.

All games are getting recorded on my DVR. Going to watch the ceremony in less than an hour (at work) then the Bafana vs Mexico.

World Cup is just about officially here. I'm rooting for the USA - and I like their chances. However, when it comes down to it, I think either Portugal, Brazil or Italy are to be favorites. My golden boot prediction goes to Kaka even though he's in the midfield.

I HATE THESE F*CKING HORNS. It sounds so F*CKING annoying....christ american sporting events sounds better then this and thats usually just a mass blob of conversation going on. I hope its only the south africans with them as i love hearing the fans while the game goes on.
