I love these! Surgery is so cool...I assisted on some back in the day, I was the nurse who handed the doc things..."Scapel"! If I find a good vid of a non laparoscopic spleenectomy I'll put it up. The aortic valve one is great.
No, my surgery isn't a big bloody mess with organs and all, but it's mildly dangerous cause they are putting scapels and clamps and screws so close to the spinal cord and spinal nerves...lots of junk in your neck too that they have to retract out of the way, like your trachea and esophagus. I have a very good surgeon so I'm not worried about it, and I'm one plate closer to becoming bionic, lolz

GOD DAAAMN!! I was wide open! Now all the pain and the size of the scar makes sence. Thankyou pinky. That guys spleen was so big at was probably gonna explode on it's own. I saw a picture of my spleen the doctor took after I was awake for a few hours, and it had a 6 inch long section that was wide open. But that was interesting to say the least. I'm not sqeemish in the least bit but that had me pickin at my scar a little bit lol.
