i also love the 1911s. Not any reason in RL, but the m1911WW2 pistol in BC2 is a motherfucking beast. I am soo jealous, i cant wait to move outta my parents place and have enough money to get a pistol, my goal is to work my way up to an automatic rifle, idk what the laws are about it but hopefully i can get a fully auto rifle, lol. I really want some working WW2 submachine guns and rifles (even if they are replicas, as long as they are accurate replicas),. WW2 weapons are soo awesome.

now i know the image says airsoft, but i did install these very grips onto my PT 1911 and they worked awsome. you can obviously find and spend more money on better quality manufacture and materials, that i will leave up to you.

if you want to maintain the mnono tone look stick with black, but for the two tone sexyness go with the OD. stay away from the Ivory, unless you plan on taking your slide and frame in for a FDE ( flat dark earth) or tan duracoat ( HIGHLY SUGESSTED!). then it will look like this...

i already went with ebony grips from raascogrips.com. Their dymondwood process involves resin impregnation, pressure, heat and densification that reduces the size of the wood by 50% and makes it stupid hard and durable. I'll be posting pics after i get home from work...
