theres nothing like making them rage when you run up and 1deag them. on restricting how many times one uses it, there was a mod that did that but if I remember correctly it would break and very by-passable by simply resetting it by buying a new gun and rebuying awp or something along those lines. Idk i like the awpers....makes your margin of error very slim and forces you to make your shots count.

If you restricted it to one per team, I being the slow buyer that I am, would never get to buy one and out awp Mossy and make him cry and say I'm all luck.

That's because of the random move while shooting pattern that's effective with a scout, which wouldn't work in 1.5/6.

The guy who first had the awp would be constantly spamming that (or f2) as well, so it's a no win situation :)

if he spams f2 just spam your key too, the fastest spammer wins, cuz i agree with the 1 (or 2) awp restriction, sometimes it gets into an awp fest and it F*CKING sucks, and i think it kills the server when a lot of players are playing on... my point.

That's why it's called the "Elite Server" too. It separates the men from the boys.

Nobody wants to be owned after being owned after being owned by a team thats awp whoring. It's never fun. When both teams have money to buy awps plentifully, THEN is when awps are fun and tactical. Everything in moderation, I say, as well.

It's actually very easy to kill someone who's not skilled with an awp, and all you need is a pistol. Awps or only effective (deadly) in skilled hands, and that's how it should be.

Smoke grenades in Source are retarded because, depending on the lighting in the map, you can see through the smoke. You can also see through the smoke if you are standing inside the smoke unless it's a double smoke. AWP takes more skill then you give it credit, but it takes more skill to out-awp the opponent. Although I can see how it could be annoying if that one awper is dominating the map.

The scout has a speed advantage as well, which could make you harder to hit if you just keep strafing a rifler at long range. Also the scout is more forgiving if you are moving.
