Unknowingly yes.

I never thought of people hacking steam accounts, i see NO point to it. Theres no value because once the original owner gets the account back, the person who hacked is fucked

But supposed the hacker is no idiot, and sells the account to an unknowing dumbass, who then gets it(for a price) just to have it stolen because of the dumbass he is.

It's almost zero cost to hack a steam account. Let's say you hack 1000 accounts and 10% of the population is too dumb to get their account back. I'm being a little generous cause you have to be kinda dumb to get hacked in the first place. That's 100 accounts that you now own and can re-sell. Even if you sell each account for $10 you'll have made 1000 dollars, not bad for being a script kiddie.

It's the same principle as spamming people. Even if 1 person out of 100,000 buys your shit, you'll have made a profit.

LOL you didn't download anything, you just gave the kid your steam account info..

HAY GUIZ HERES MY LOGIN!~ NO NEED TO HACK ME ILL JUST GIVE IT TO YOU*&@$

Hint #1, if the website isn't steamcommunity.com or steampowered.com, don't put your login info into the site. It isn't hard.

I would think you would know that most shit with the .tk prefix is going to be most likely bullshit. A lot of shit like this come from free domains.

"McAfee conducted a survey in which they claim out of the 95 percent most trafficked web sites, .tk domains were twice as likely as the global average to be used for "unwanted behaviours", including scams such as phishing and spam"
