You know, I'm sure one day Bose is going to come out with something and be like "Yeah, we basically poured trillions of dollars in to this shit and managed to develop actual surround sound by bouncing these soundwaves off of these soundwaves which in turn bounce off the Transformer Soundwave and that shit goes straight in to your brain 'n' shit and BLAN! Surround sound headphones!"

But until that day, lol.

This is all that matters. And when you plug the headphones in they MUST go "Oo oo ah ah ee ee". Robotic, not monkey. And it must flip open, and land on your head perfectly.

I liked them, but I was looking for something different. I kinda disliked the volume control located like half the way up the headphone cord - it always gets stuck under my gd chair.

That same thing happens to me when i am playing. I evenytually got rid of that volume control and just bypassed the control. Now I love my $20 headseat. Speaking of which how is my mic on css? Does everything sound good or does it sound like a piece of shit?

All the Steelseries headsets have the control on the cord, which I love. Creative just came out with a new headset that Complexity is using and seems to be pretty hyped about, but I'm sure it'll be pretty expensive as most Creative headsets are.

You might want to look into Sennheiser. They will be the better all-around headset (music and movies), but as far as pure gaming goes, Steel is the way to go. Not to mention Steelseries has the best return policy in the business.

Yeah it has the best return policy guaranteeing them for a year, but their RMA takes like 2 weeks for you just to get an RMA number, which sucks. If you do get Sennheiser, you need to get a separate mic because they don't have them.

With the chair thing, mine wasn't that far down on the cord unless your chair is like a foot off of the ground.

Oh and the coL headset is $99 with free shipping.

I swear I try and move my head after playing a while and there wouldn't be enough slack (which is ridiculous considering how long the cord is) and I look down and the gd volume control thing is under a wheel. It's never just the cord, it's always the volume control thing. So I have to fix it then pick up the volume control thing and place it in my lap and have it there while I'm playing, or it'll fall off and get stuck again.

The ear padding on the v2s look pretty nice though.. I might just go with them. The mic on my old set seems awful now, too. That might just be from aging, though.

p.s.

The 5hV2's are the most comfortable headset out there. Not to mention great sound for games. Problem is, music and video quality isn't that great. But, I do love my 5hV2's.

If you listen to music or watch movies through your headset on your computer get the Siberia. If you don't then you could go either way. Also, white on the 5h's look better.

i dont really care much about the sound quality as long as its decent, cause my hearing sucks, the mic is the most important part of the headset to me. and thx for the help jfobp

I think both headsets offer a pullout mic. I know the 5Hv2's mic has great sound because just about everyone I know has had one at one time. I can't really offer much advice into the new Siberia's just because it is new to the market and just came out. Really can't expect anything less from the Siberia's though.
