Post Just bought a new mouse!!!1
So yeah i took Spyda´s advice and after testing Angrykittens mouse i bought me a Deathadder 3500 dpi.

I was fragging insanely when i was in austin, due to this mouse and the latency given by the good pipe adam has an also because it took me less hops to reach the new main server, while i was at austin.

Now that i bought my mouse, wich tweeks would you recommend and why, i mean, when i plugged my new mouse it was on his default configuration wich is 3500 with aproximately 500 hz of polling rate, i installed the driver and modified this configuration and dropped the dpi to 1800 and moved from 500 hz to 1000hz of polling rate and i felt better about the modification, would you guys suggest staying at 3500 dpi and move to 1000 hz of polling rate and get used to this configuration???

I didn't install the drivers with mine; I just use the stock settings + cpl mousefix. That's how I roll.

When i plugged my new mouse it felt pretty different from when i plugged Angrykittens mouse :s, and when i installed the drivers and configured the mouse, it feld pretty much like the one i borrowed from Angrykitten.

Also i need how to l2cpl mouse settings.

Mousefix FTW!!! I use usb mouserate switcher http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Syst ... cher.shtml
And mouse rate checker to make sure it worked http://www.blazingpc.com/forum/download ... ile&id=107

Anything over 500hz is gravy.

Actually, the CPL mouse fix isn't 100% accurate.

http://www.filefront.com/13619415/cheesemfix.zip

A much better mouse fix that I could easily feel was better and smoother. Like there is a pretty big difference between that and the CPL fix. Just make sure you run the correct one that correlates with your monitor hz.

Just bought a Razer Salmosa from Woot! and its hella responsive and quite comfortable. It didn't register on my dell mousepad but now that I have cardboard underneath it, its very nice.

I used to use my MS intellimouse 2.0, it has AWESOME sensitivity/acceleration/pre-installed hax.
On the other hand, this salmosa is not fast enough, yet manages to be one jerky little crap.

Thumbs up on the intellimouse. It used to be my haxmouse in the 1.5 days and switched to logitech mx and now razr deathadder, but I've never had that feeling of being one with your mouse from anything other than the intellimouse.

I've got a shitty temp mouse. From what I read, this intellimouse is F*CKING awesome. Should I invest in it, or should I get a razer mouse? I've been looking at those for a while but I'm not mouse saavy so I dunno wtf makes it good. I just want it to be like an extension of my hand as Chris put it.
