All I am saying is that Amazon alone lost $120,000 in PC game pre-sales for a reason, why almost 200,000 people have signed a petition against the game, people that play this game competitively NEED dedicated servers. I don't care about people that pub or play for fun, because that is not what keeps the game going. It is the dedicated players that keep it going. People that play the game for fun play it for the few months after its out then move on to the next new shiny thing.

If you don't play the game for competition then you don't need to be commenting on what I say, because you don't understand the significance this has on the competitive community.

WTF are you talking about, you already failed hard, first of all from those 120k, they probably buy the game later on IW knows that and thats why they dont give a F*CK about PC gamers, its not even theyr primal market target.

What keeps the game going are pubs, not ALL people play competitive, the world of CSS is probably 70% pubs 30% competitive and i might be exagerating.

You dont need a dedicated server to play competitive matches, last time i checked cod 4 for xbox runned over non-dedicated servers and HEY LOOK THEY HAVE A LEAGUE!!!

the point is we are talking about how IW wants to make money with this game, not create the best "competitive gamer" game ever. if people buy it and only play it for a few months, IW still wins cause they made their money regardless if it's PC or console. so no, dedicated servers don't affect IW's profits. plus, as was stated earlier in this thread, without dedicated servers IW can control downloadable content and charge for it, so they will make even more money off the PC users, which will most likely make up for the whiney faggots who won't buy it due to there being no dedicated servers.

I hang around here because I said I like the community... although you all dislike me somehow even though I only played in one of your servers for 10 minutes.

I try to be nice around here but the fact of the matter is I still remain pissed about the fact that I was banned unjustly from the server and now I won't get unbanned. Of course I am going to sound like a prick who wouldn't?

Anyhow I still don't see what makes you guys better than anti-cheat programs at finding hackers, and banning SKILLED players from your servers is just sad. That makes sense though because you are all still playing there and I am banned. I am a high-end CS:S admin for a big league, have played this game 8+ years, participated in many online leagues and LAN events alike such as GLP (http://ghettolanparty.org/mainindex.htm) this Saturday, and to my knowledge those places don't allow cheaters in.

But hey you guys keep up the good work, from what I have seen on the unban request forum most people have been banned for so called "wallhacking" and they don't seem to happy about it either. My guess is that you guys never figured out how to use sound and radar, but hey you are still playing in your pub when I am going to a LAN on Saturday and probably coming home with at least $200 in my pocket, what have you done?
