 I'm replacing a few components...and I need your opinions. The computer I built Miss Murk runs CS:S fine but when it comes to L4D and TF2 it hangs on by a thread, so me being a nice guy is putting my current CPU, Mobo, GPU, RAM and PSU into her case and I'm gonna get myself some new stuff and I wanted some opinions.
The new stuff I'm looking at: CPU -AMD Athlon II X4 620 Propus 2.6GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler -Scythe SCKTN-3000 92mm Sleeve "KATANA3" 3Heat Pipes GPU -EVGA GeForce GT 220 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 RAM - Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) ( getting 4 sticks, already have heatsinks for them) PSU -OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ500MXSP 500W ATX12V V2.2 Mobo -MSI AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD I'm open to suggestions. |

Re: I'm replacing a few components... normally I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to building/upgrading my computer. But if you've got the money for the parts you mentioned, get 'em. it'd probably help also if you got Windows 7 (i'm using 32-bit), helps games run a bit faster
