Like most of the young guys here I leaned left <35 yrs old....I was pissed at the first Bush (no more taxes) and actually voted for that scum sucking pig Clinton. The older and wiser I've gotten the more conservative I've gotten. But, the Republicans suck dick too... no organization...no focus. The Dems here in CO took this State by storm with their big money and grass roots org. The future looks pretty dim.

I go about it a couple of ways, first if you go to CNN and read the latest news, click on a news story that interest you then you can usually scroll to bottom of article/page and click on "From the Blogs" and find comments and links to Blogs linking to this story: and/or Blogs talking about this topic: and click on whatever one you want to participate in. But I usually find it easier to just become a fan of CNN on facebook and then watch for the daily wall news announcements and join in the conversation happening on facebook. I don't comment on every story, I usually wait for a decent political hot button and then read comments until I find some moron misstating facts or being obnoxious to the point that I feel I should jump in, correct them and educate as needed. Be warned not to become a name caller or otherwise disrespectful as it makes you look bad and discredits your attempt to come across as educated, informed and serious. It really makes them mad when you take the high road and maintain your composer all the while being correct about whatever it is you are arguing. Also watch your spelling, they will flame you just as fast as if you were posting on n00bfest (which is why n00bfest posting is good practice).
