It was required by my college since I am in the computer department to have one, I have to run all the programs for class on it and such. and for the Alienware being 100 dollars more...just think about the case the m17x is in....It's about 12 pounds of aluminum not to mention the quite nice keyboard...and all the F*CKING unnecessary but still kinda cool lighting areas, and the whole screen is a glass overlay.

high wrote: i just recently bought a gaming laptop for when i travel back home.. specs are ok and the price is great. im only paying about 30 bucks a month on it also. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834115592so far is been awesome it has a 1gb nvidia vid card in it.. 150fps in source, runs wow with no lag even during raids. finger print scanner glossy screen full keyboard etc only downside is the mouse pad is in a weird position, but i used a mouse and you can turn it off so there is no issues. So when you got like 100 people around you going crazy like in wintergrasp you run above 50fps?
