So Saturday a buddy and mine went out looking to whack some squirrels. We were about 3 hours in when we decided to head back to the truck. We went off the beaten path and came across a lunch pale style cooler. Once I got a little closer I seen a shotgun, next to the shotgun was a decomposed body. F*CKING gnarly! The guy had a nasty whole in his head and the shotgun was laying just below his crotch. There was a torn down tent, an empty booze bottle, some empty spray paint cans and a hatchet. At first we were like, WTF is this shit! I took off my orange and hung it from the tree so we could find the spot later. We bolted out of the woods and towards the first house we could find. (we leave cell phones in the truck because I always lose them) So we walk up to the house and I am thinking maybe its not a good idea for two 6'3" fat mother F*CKERS with guns to knock on a Ron Paul supporter's door. I do it anyways. Thank god no answer. So we hike 3 miles back to the truck and get our cell phones and call the police.

Me - Yeah I just came out of the woods from hunting and I found a dead body.
911 - Do you mean a deceased body?
Me - Is there a difference?

Cops show up, we walk them out to the body and they explain that this looks like a guy that was reported missing back in early July. This makes sense as his body looked like an old baseball glove. After showing the cop the body he gives us the clear and we go home to watch the already in progress Michigan game.

This makes 2 suicide victims that I have found while hunting & fishing and 1 while at work. A few years back I found a guy who had smashed his snowmobile into a seawall on lake st. clair at about 70-90mph. He was almost frozen right to the ice. His face mask was blasted off and his face was swollen up a little. Thankfully no blood or guts on that one.

One time at work we found a bum that had gotten drunk and passed out in the alley behind the hospital I work at. His face was frozen to a metal bench. It was something else.

Another time at work we found a bum that was beaten with a brick. If anyone has ever seen the 2 guys 1 hammer video remember the sounds the guy was making? This is what the bum sounded like. He was choking on his own blood. His head was so swollon that he was unrecognizable. A few hours later we found out it was one of out regular "nice" bums. He was a guy that bothered nobody, no mental problems, he just didn't want to pay the government taxes. I actually wouldn't really consider him a bum. He had a house & a family. He used to scour the alleys for junk in the dumpsters.





First Story back in July


The Oakland County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to find a man who has been missing for 10 days.

Timothy Burch was reported missing by his wife Kathy. The couple is separated. Kathy says her husband is in the process of losing his house to foreclosure. She says she stopped by the house on July 2 to get some belongings and found a note from Timothy.

The note was for the couple's 16-year-old daughter saying she could have his pickup truck. The blue 2005 Chevy Silverado is also missing. The truck's license plate is BQE-1216.

Burch's friends and family have not heard from him. Investigators have also contacted local airports, hospitals and jails without any luck.

Timothy Burch is 54-years-old, 5'10" tall and about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair. It is unknown what he was last wearing. Burch was born in Tawas, so police think it's possible he may have gone there.

GROVELAND TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Police believe a decomposed body found by hunters Saturday is likely that of a Brandon Township man who went missing in July.

Timothy Burch, 54, was reported missing in July after his estranged wife found him gone and a note suggesting he might hurt himself.

Saturday, two hunters called police after they found a body in an area off Jossman Road in Groveland Township, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.

Police said it appeared the man died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound.

No identification was found but police found evidence that suggested the man is Burch.

Police are awaiting dental records and the case remains under investigation.

No I didn't take any pictures. We left our phones in the truck and the second time we went out to show the cops we didn't take any pics only because the cop was there and even as sick of a F*CK as I am its think its just disrespectful.

I wish i could go an hunt with you, i like that shit, wish i saw dead body´s, the last dead body´s i saw, was like 10 years ago, a train ran through a bus and 40 people died (saw that accident), because they wherent fully identified they where put on a local basketball court for people to go and identify them.

Of course not any of my relatives where there but even so i went to see that shit just for the heck of it, when the medical staff unveiled the body´s you could see all of these nasty shit, man that was jerk off material for 1 week, wich also gaved me nightmares, it was kinda fun, now the closest i can get is gore videos or .gifs .

I didn't know what to say when I heard this. I was in shock for a second when she actually asked me.








I see dead bodies daily. My signature is attached to thousands of death certificates. If a body leaves our hospital is has either mine or another managers approval. Most are pretty straight forward. Some fat ones, some with cool bullet holes, some car accidents but then there are some that have been left behind that start to stink. Oh, and there was the time the morgue cooler broker, the smell was amazing.
