 Path of Exile
http://www.pathofexile.comHas anyone checked this out at all? It is a really in depth action rpg. Currently in closed beta, it is going open beta and free to play Jan. 23. Ridiculously complex with developers that give a shit, it looks very promising. Here is a relatively short youtube video of Kripp explaining the basic mechanics behind the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgs47cnl ... A&index=14

 Re: Path of Exile
No offense, but that game looks pretty horrible.

 Re: Path of Exile
There is a difference between shitty graphics, and just shitty animations.
I can play a game with shitt graphics. (lol, minecraft!) Hell, I still play NES games on my phone.
But when the dude looks like a down-syndrome baby swinging a fuckall stick......

 Re: Path of Exile
It is actually going live in 16 hours. Completely free. No gimmick charges. The revenue model is based on purchases of cosmetic upgrades and things like stashtabs. Nothing that will give anyone any kind of competitive edge. No pay to win. I will be playing tomorrow when I get off work. I know it gained little interest here when I first posted this, but figured I'd bump it since tomorrow is the day. http://www.pathofexile.com3 Minute video of Kripp telling you why to play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyYZaRNKtHw

 Re: Path of Exile
Great game, been in since it went into closed beta. Looks better and plays better than D3, with ENDLESS customization.

 Re: Path of Exile
Game is so good. Better than d2 as crazy as that is.
Acid: I play decently enough. Me and a buddy are almost through cruel... in the high 40's. Public parties are frustrating to the point that they are pointless. If you like, shoot me a friend request.
It goes by character names rather than account. I am ussually on WhatAMAN

 Re: Path of Exile
My comrade as work keeps bugging me to try it out, even dared compared it to D2.
It is on my todo list for sure.
