 Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
Here I will be posting a guide on throwing some of the best and highly used smokes for certain maps. I will update this thread with a new map every week until I have posted all I know :) Feel free to add your own. ( Just make sure to include pictures!) ENJOY. I will start off with de_inferno.

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
Pretty good guide. The first 2 smokes are useless though for rushing up mid as you have no cover from either right or left side when you rush up alt mid to mid.

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
Thx.. the mid rush smokes are pretty self explanatory I would think.. this is more about the smokes that are not as well known or the ones you wouldn't think about but can help. I will not be listing the obvious ones :) And also these are more for scrims where you don't have 10 people in mid :)

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
Oh I know they are more for scrims. Whenever I play inferno as CT there is usually one playing arch side mid and one playing apartment side mid, with someone actually in apartments. Rush strat is usually smoke up one side, flash the other.

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
I know a CT smoke, ask me about it if you see me on. (Not going to be on any time soon, otherwise I'd post a screeny), if anyone's wondering 'which' CT smoke, it's the one where you hang left from CT spawn (tunnel, not kitchen), and just as you get out the end of the tunnel, look toward where banana would be from there (over the 'lower' of the roofs). This smoke is helpful because it blocks the T entrance to banana and would allow CTs to push up further or fake a banana advance giving a little confusion to the T strategy which would have to take the smoke into consideration at a crucial point in the round. If one of y'alls feels like trying this out and posting a screeny of the 'sweet spot' in aim and position, I'd be thankful.
If you throw it too far to the left it ends up at church bells.

Great guide otherwise If you do it right, it lands right before the cubby next to woodpile (T side of banana).

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
no nash unfortunatly not at different resolutions things appear farther and closer for instance something at 8x6 lined up with the time clock will not work with a resolution at 1600x1200 as things will appear farther and smaller at 1600 than they will at 800.

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
this smoke is for spools the comments are posted above the pic.
Attachments:
File comment: if thrown correctly it lands on top of the grates in front of spools and looks like this. very effective against awp/scout on spools picking

File comment: there is a small gap inbetween the leaves where you put your crosshair

Re: Smoke Guide for Counter-Strike: Source
This is an apt smoke so you can get out aps safetly
Attachments:
File comment: as you can see if thrown correctly it lands on the roof and smokes out around the doorway allowing you to push out w/ ease
aptsmoke.jpg [ 228.64 KiB | Viewed 5116 times ]
File comment: Ok so this 1 is kinda confusing but rly easy where the green arrow is line the tip of the roof up w/ the wall to its left i left it out a little so you could tell. Now where the yellow arrow is you put your Xhair there is an opening in the cloud as you can see put it there and your gravy
