No point in worrying about future disasters. If you're gonna worry about another earthquake hitting Japan, you may as well worry about massive solar flares wiping out the power grid, asteroids causing a nuclear winter, or global warming causing massive flooding. We'll just have to deal with the problems when they occur. No one knows what will happen if Japan get hit with another 9.0 earthquake. We'll find out when it happens.

I know exactly what will happen! The whole world will go crazy cause they cant get anymore quality electronics and quality built automobiles and autoparts. I think I will have to riot with them. Until the reactor burns down and kills everyone.

Most of this type of news is more a sort of entertainment for me these days. An old friend of mine (by old I mean actually an old person), likes to say "We all have to leave here somehow". That's how I look at this stuff, and in the grand scheme of things, it's fun to let people know that these things are happening or could happen just to strike up a conversation and get into discussions. A lot of things that happen are bound to happen and the only thing that really seems to matter to me are the choices that people make for themselves and others 'when' these things happen. Those choices are the reason why we are here, I believe. Catastrophes are inevitable, no matter how awesome our technological advancement becomes, the margin of error will always exist, however small.

while I do agree that this could become problematic for those on the west coast, if you've ever been to LA, they have much worse health issues than a little radiation. Between the "acid" rain and over fishing/ fishing in polluted waters. I think the majority of the US population will not be affected. I feel bad for Japan though because they could potentially be fucked in the anus so to speak.
