Re: A Budget build for my friend
the 6870 is better i suppose, but with the gtx460 you wont have to worry about drivers things messing up as much

I like to go to tomshardware for computer stuff. They got reviews, "Best Of $XXX" value comparisons, and sample builds. But it looks like your build is pretty nice.

Re: A Budget build for my friend
Edit on the build
His order was voided for unknown reasons. After some more talking he decided to spend a slightly larger amount and get a Radeon Hd 7770

Re: A Budget build for my friend
A few changes were made to the final Build We had to get a Radeon 7770 instead of a 6870, we also had to get crucial Ballistix RAM. Anyways here some pics of the build

I've been thinking about putting a pc together this summer for around 800 bucks and when I get to it was hoping you could all help with what you think would be best.

Re: A Budget build for my friend (pics)
Idk if that case can handle any cable management crzyninja, the case itself seems small with too little room behind the mobo tray. Also if it's his friends build I doubt his friend cares that much about cable management, he just wants to play them video games.

Would at least help open it up a bit in there for some extra air flow. On a side note. What the hell kind of camera were you using for those pictures? I could barely tell I was looking at a computer in that first photo.

I went to ibuypower.com. You can customize your rig with just about anything, and I got my desktop (which my dad now has in Ukraine -_-) for about $550, and it could run Crysis 2 on High (not max, but w/e) :P
