Been playing cs for a very long time. I used to play off and on 6 months at a time. One of the guys I used to ring for played in a series of n00bunlimited servers. So I did too. Maybe a year and a half ago I had went into one of the off phases. When I came back 6 months ago, I couldn't find those servers. So I refresh the list and n00bfest is one of the lowest ping servers with people actually in it on the whole damn list. I join. Play. Its in the history list, so I join some more. Now it's the only server I play on. Even when it's full, I auto-retry and play gungame just waiting for it to connect.

I was lookin through the server list and saw the got n00b?, ever since then i've stuck to the server. Oh and I sucked major dick but improved so much since then.

been playing strikage since about 1.4 I think.....Used to run a Pentium2 400Mghzt with a Voodoo2 3-d Card and would server-hop, my connection being so shitty I would lag so much that shottys and machine-guns were my forte. Went into the military and started playing CZ when it came out. I loved it and my fav map to this day is still CS_assault. I would drink all night in the barracks and play assault because by then I was bored of most of the maps. I was never a good "player" by my standard or anyone elses, but one drunken night of Grey goose pinned me a T up by 47-3. (Yes...assault.). After that I did not play Counterstrike for a few years, as I was doing the Army thing traveling the world. When I came back home I bought a new PC and immediately downloaded Steam, bought Source....and continued my server-hopping reign of terror.

Then I cam accross a familiar looking server, ( I say that because I remember playing 1.4,.5.6. and remembered see and even playing in several of the n00b servers. Although back then there were alot of noob servers and to this day I am not sure If I did play with any of the old timers around here.:) , also I changed my name so much I don't remember all the ones I have used)
This looked like a good location and a good name to do some pwning...........ya right.
The ping was actually good, but the pwning did not come so easily. I had to adjust to Source and deal with surprisingly highly competitive play for a server called n00bfest.
I was the same as I am now, loud and aggressive, which made alot of people want to see me banned. I won coach over in short time, as well as Rage and deadman.
Soon after that I came to realize that this place was 10X more fun than all of the servers combined that I had previously played in.No joke. I was done hopping around like a lost rabbit on the servers. I found my Home. I applied for membership and was a n00b in about a month. Since then I have made many gamer-freinds and have a shitload of stories and memories of this server.
I hope this place stays up forever. ♥

All started when I got sick of mw3 this past month, halo reach sucks, only games I really play when I do. Only alternate left is CSS which I've had for years and only had about 70hours before I got back into now up too about 130. Put more hours in the last 4 weeks then I did over the year I had it sitting in steam. When I did play CS anyway it was CSCZ until a buddy bought me CSS if he hadn't bought it for me I wouldn't be here. But I did happen to click on n00bfest when I first saw it because I wanted to do what It said join a n00bfest and Pwn.

Things may change when halo 4 is released.

I gotta agree, but ill only be out for a couple weeks, going from pad to km/b to pad is not the best transition

Honestly idk why or how I stumbled onto here. I am a big COD player and played vcod since 2003. By the time mw came out my comp was reaching its limit so I decided to branch out and play a "new" game. That game was CS:s with some friends that decided to do some surfing. In going around doing surf maps I stumbled upon n00bfest while trying to find one (I wasn't good at it). I came in and played a few days and then on July 4th 2010 I joined the forums and became an rct. I was known as the kissass and for posting pics of my exs (which had to be taken down... Still have them tho ;) ) from there most of you know the story. Now I'm here, a council memento and admin working on making it to 2 years of this great place. Ive had my ups and downs around here, 2 surgeries, my love of my life joining and getting trolled but hey, what would n00bfest be without trolls that have never touched a women before.

I was visiting the States for a summer in 08 and was gathering some computer games to play on my first desktop back in Germany. CS:S was one of those games, and my ma brought her new laptop to the states and started testing the "famous" game on the lappy. I thought well, I'm a new HOMOSEXUAL to this game lets join servers that say "n00b" on it.......n00b central, n00bs start here.....n00bfest. I liked the colourfull atmosphere and server set up so I decided to stick around. After two weeks of putting in 5 hours in a day on the server I finally submitted an RCT app..

I joined the server one day and admins were on and I was annoying as shit and yelling obscenities and didn't get banned. I knew I found my place to pub.

Just got my new alienware computer 3 years ago (well not new anymore lawl) and I was an original 1.6 player and had never played source before so I was just browsing sewers and n00bfest looked good and I never left because the people were so funny. How could you leave when you have Luff raging, Joe raging, Kano raging, Dirtbag raging, Spidey raging, and Coach always doing funny shit?

Back in 2005 i had discovered FPS games for the first time when i played c&c renegage. I got hooked so i went and bought condition zero because it was the most popular game at the time. I find the n00b server because i figured it was where noobs could come and play with others with equal skill levels. Realized the guys in the server where pretty cool and the rest is history

I discovered n00bfest after i had become bored of the constant 24/7 dust 2 and office servers that flood the game. One day i decided i wnated to be as far from d2 as possible and decided to search fro rotation servers, At the time i wnated to play maps i hadnt played before so i searched for a server that played aztec. n00bfest was the only one to pop up in the area and i joined. I soon discovered the n00b factor was nonexistent and that i sucked major dick at css. Since then ive stayed here at n00bfest, generally making an ass out of myself as i lamely play css

Found it after playing CSS w. my IRL friend Illogic who was friends with Mossy. Played a bunch with Mossy in the server and haven't left! :D So if you guys want to blame anyone for having me here its Mossy. Haha
