Ok so I've been lookn recently and I'm not sure really who togo with I've always used logitect mouse/keyboard/headset never had any problems with them...I've seen some of the theads about mice and not really sure what to go with...I don't need a mouse that has like 9000 buttons on the thumb alone.

Also what do you guys think of turtle beach headsets? I've always heard their good and soundand feedback but never used one myself a couple of friends has themand they love them...just not sure tho on long term quality/use.

I have a G15 keyboard along with a couple of other people here and love it. I'd prob upgrade the G19 if I got a new one though.

Mice is dependent on style and size to what you want. You can't go wrong with SteelSeries mice for what you said about not a bunch of bullshit on it. Most of their mice have 5 buttons and a sens toggle with clean colors. I F*CKING hate Razer but Logitech is also a great choice if you liked the mouse you had before.

Headset if another area that is dependent on what you do. If you are getting it to play CS or other games, I'd get a Siberia v2 or a 7H(Haven't used this one before, so it might be great for music, I don't know). If you are big into music, you should look into a good Logitech or Sennheiser. I do not recommend Logitech for sound based gaming like CS, but they would be fine for LoL because you don't need to pinpoint where sounds are. I have one and it blows in comparison to the other SteelSeries headsets I've used (5H, 5Hv2, Siberia v2).

Ive got a g500 mouse, its nice. Everytime I but a nice headset it breaks along the cord so i decided to go with the crapy headset that can last forever.

I have a dynex mini-mouse, but I'm looking into getting a better one.

And I have a set of turtle beaches (the x12's) and I like them a lot.

Rosewill RK-9000RE mechanical keyboard (Cherry MX Reds) is best value I've seen. It's made for people with larger hands though as the keys have standard spacing and aren't crunched together the way say, a G15 has them. I've been using this Rosewill keyboard for quite a while now and I love it. A little bit loud if you bottom out the keys but that's to be expected from a keyboard that weighs 4lbs and has a metal plate underneath the switches.

Headset? I am loving my Turtle Beach EarForce X12's, but I'd like them better in a wireless configuration as I have a tendency to just get up and run somewhere and having a cord attached kind-of sucks when you forget to remove the headset.

Mouse? I prefer a trackball but best mice are made by Razer.

I've been using all Razer product for the last 2 years. The Lachesis, lycosa and the Carcharias headset. I LOVE the headset, but i've had minor issues with the keyboard and mouse. the keyboard, wasd sometimes stick.. rarely, but enough to piss you off. the mouse doesn't always connect on PC start up, but i think that my be a driver issue. Mouse also skips across the screen on occasion and the only thing that fixes it is cleaning the lens. I'm thinking about making the switch to logitech myself. but this headset is mindblowing sometimes.

Kwang: Lawl. I have x12's and I've done that a couple of time running to the fridge.

Logitech g110 keyboard, Logitech g9x and a combination of my ultrasone 780's and a Logitech headset. Id use any Logitech headset in particular i have g330, i was just blessed to have the ultrasone which are F*CKING comfortable as F*CK and never irritate my ears.

Logitech G15 Keyboard (first series with the 18 G keys) - Best keyboard I have ever owned.

If we're talking about superior sound quality...

Logitech fails at audio, period. Go with some Sennheiser's. Best audio you can get.
For a keyboard... go for a Rosewill Cherry. If you can't afford it, then go for a Logitech.
For a mouse get a Logitech.

I'm with this nigga when it comes to sound, I am a fan of just using a higher end stereo headphones with a desk mic than a gaming headset, it works fine. I love me some Sennheser.

As for keyboard, I havn't used one in a few years merely because I have been on a laptop. Though personally I see myself going with a G19 soon.

Mouse, I'm both a Logitech fan and a Razr fan. Right now I run with a Razr Naga, but I got a Logitech G9x in my backpack for a backup.

The problem I have with Razr products are their drivers. I constantly have to unplug and plug my keyboard's USB cable back in because keys randomly stop working. I currently use the Lycosa and the Deathadder, and to be honest.. I prefer Logitech over either one of these any day! Duability is a big deal, and Razr just can't compete with their terrible drivers, warranties and replacement plans. One year warranty? On a keyboard? Psh!

Who installs non-standard keyboard drivers?

If you're talking about installing Windows drivers alone, probably everyone who wants the functionality of their Razr keyboard rather than a piece of plastic to punch letters on which is everyone but you. If you're talking about installing Razr drivers, then yeah... their drivers blow dick.

That's like asking why would I install the drivers that come with my video card, or my mouse. Probably because they want the functionality that comes with the product. The Lycosa has a multimedia panel on it that won't work with standard drivers. Funny enough, it also doesn't work with their own. It's no coincidence that the last three products I've bought from Razr have failed miserably or were completely DOA or broken after 4-5 months.

I wanted to add if you're looking for unmatched audio cards, ASUS Xonar is by far the best sound card you can get. I currently rock the Essence ST and it have interchangeable amps and can support FULL analog sound with a $99 addon card. You get the best of both worlds.

@acid: I get you on the Razer drivers, but on durability I've never broken a Razer mouse but I've broken like 5 G5/518's and most of them within months of touching them just because I'm a button masher and Logitech uses shit-ass 'poles' to hold up the PCB.
