Good news: hearing on this bill has been delayed until next year (for reals this time). Small victory, but it gives us regular people a little extra time to gather opposition towards the bill and make a few more phone calls, which I'm thankful for. I'll post here with more information as it comes, and if there is any sanity left in our government, hopefully they will see the light and shoot this bill down.

no one knows if the bill will get passed or not, i just know that if that does happen, you will see a sharp divide in this country. on top of that, it will basically spawn 'criminal internet'. censorship should be an option, not an obligation.

Also, I'd vote against this bill; the means to which they enforce this bill enable them to conveniently have access to everyone's internet history. People have skeletons in their closets and we don't have access to them, so why permit the opposite on the internet?
