Prolog:

First appearance homo sapiens sapiens (human) is dated bout 250 000 years ago. It took us some time to invent the wheel - estimates go up to 9500 BC with first documented wheeled vehicle dated about 4000 BC. But from there the evolution of technology speeded up. That should serve as a starting point for further discussion.

Egyptians (and other civilizations supposedly visited by aliens) cannot be considered as a “cave man” – they are civilizations. Duh!

Gold / silver:

Well, both of them are noble metals. What’s a noble metal you shall ask? It’s a kind of metal that is resistant to corrosion. So - both are rare, both won’t corrode (won’t lose the quality / value), and gold… What color is that? Color of sun, so combing those 3 facts makes gold (and silver - 2 facts) a good material for the currency.

Also, gold wasn’t used everywhere as a currency. As far I remember / know: some South America civilizations /cultures used coffee seeds/ beans as a currency. (Probably because aliens had to stay awake long nights to build the pyramids.)



Ekhm… What about silicon? I may be wrong, but the electronic item you’re reading this post on is silicon (not gold) based. Also silicon’s atom mass is about 5 times smaller than gold’s – it’s lighter per volume. So I’d think that aliens with all the advanced technology (you have to use more than rocks and ropes to travel in space) would go with silicon not gold.

Pyramids:
Whoever said that ancient Egyptians had anything to do with the building pyramids? The Aliens could have built them, then the Egyptians came and began to use it as a civilization.

So theory is that aliens between 2600 BC and 600 BC were frequently visiting Egypt to build the pyramids? “Hey Egyptians we will build the pyramids for you. You can bury your kings there, but we need to build those pyramids in a specific places - our intergalactic navigation system is not accurate. Also please plan in advance the deaths of your kings, so we can schedule our trips to Earth.”
Besides of no logical reason why anyone would want to help Egyptians to build the pyramids we have reasonable theories on how it was actually build by humans. Theory includes: lots of people (not necessary slaves – some of them were paid workers), lots of time, and the sand ramps to move the stone blocks from place to another.

“But the sand ramps are not true, because where is no evidence, and…” – well, please look at skyscrapers. I shall say “aliens build it, because there’s no evidence (except photoshoped pictures) that cranes were used”. Of course there’s no evidence. Even when you paint your room you clean up after you’re done. Duh! “But sand ramp were time consuming… “ Look at the Siege of Masada – it took Romans few months (maybe weeks) to build ramp of stones and sand and take over the Masada. Egyptians have years to build one pyramid.

It’s actually not too complicated to put a stone on a stone in a simple structure. Look for example at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathedral. Example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aachen_Cathedral - build 800-1000 AD. Available technology is pretty similar to the one Egyptians have and those are more complex buildings (or did the aliens build them too?).

Have a little more trust / faith in human abilities.

I do not question the existence of other life forms in the universe. Though the logical reasoning I cannot proof that there is none. It’s about stupid (unsupported) ideas fed to you via TV screen.
