Have some extra dough to spend, need a new mouse, does anyone have any experience with this mouse? Thanks!

I promise I'm not trying to troll here. But why would you get that? It looks like it would be completely uncomfortable to hold and use for long periods of time, especially since you're a huge gamer. And think about if a piece actually broke off of it? I bet it would be a bitch to fix or even find where the piece originally came from. On top of that, the pieces portruding out of the back of the mouse would suck, but I only say that simply because I rest the bottom of my hand on the bottom/back of the mouse.

I love peripherals that are a little outside the box, I suppose this might be my next mouse purchase.

Probably after week or two you'll get bored with all that fancy settings and after another week or two they will become annoying. The one that Hooker posted or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6826104261 might be a better choice because: it's cheaper, both logitech have better review than cyborg, and they have 5700 dpi vs cyborg's 5600 (if it really matters).

The kid inside me also screams "buy cyborg! cause it's cool!" Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_05

Get whatever fits your hand. Don't buy a new mouse without testing the ergonomics first. Razers feel awful in my hand and I don't think you can switch dpi on them on the fly (correct me if I'm wrong.)

Its like getting a new pair of shoes, always try them on before you get it.

Or you know, you could just look at the reviews.

Yea some Razers are horrible Hooker but its all about personal preference...they need a mouse testing center to try shit out before you buy...

Also, 10bux cheaper on amazon and free 2 day shipping if you have amazon prime

They do have these in select best buy stores if you want to try them out.

I'll go check this out at my giant local best buy and if it feels nice I'll pick it up & report back.

They didn't have it on display for obvious reasons, being that this goddamn thing is so adjustable and you could take pieces off.

I picked it up and am configuring. It's way more comfy than it looks-- reminds me a lot of my HK P30 with all the interchangable pieces.

I've been using Logitech VX Revolution for about 3 years now and it is still doing great! Also thought on buying a Cyborg R.A.T. 7, but that might be when my Logitech dies.

Post Re: Cyborg R.A.T. 7 Gaming Mouse
I have the R.A.T. 7 gaming mouse and I like it very much. The weight can be adjusted and it actually is very comfortable. There is one slight problem that I've been having with it. I'm not quite sure how to fix it so I'll have to call tech support to see if they have a solution.

After some time, it just stops working on the computer it's plugged into. The mouse doesn't break, because I've plugged it into other computers and it detects fine. It's just if it dies on the computer it's plugged into it won't ever be able to be detected on that machine again. (At least that's what I'm trying to figure out) I'm sure it's just something with the USB ports.

Awesome mouse, but this inconvenience sucks if you don't have a backup mouse.

I've heard decent things but I've never had a problem with my Razer Deathadder,I recommend that mouse.
