I need your help.
My solo career for First Sun is about to expand soon, and I need a new graphic to show my album called

Mind Under Matter

I also need my logo redone... here's the old one.

It's an eclipse... a bad one... hence where I get my occasional alias of ecl!pse.

The graphic direction of the album cover is the logo being the main focus.

Imagine if you were looking at the sky and you were looking at an eclipse and everything around you was dark as F*CK. This is a third-person perspective, so that means I should be able to see the person looking at the eclipse. The Eclipse source (object blocking the sun) needs to be the Earth. IT CANNOT BE THE MOON. This has direct relation to the album name. Don't forget the object is dark so there should be vague ways we know that this is the Earth and not the moon.

I posted this here in order to possibly get those of you who don't visit the arts/music thread on a regular basis. Anyone is welcome to attempt this, but I'm telling you that it's going to be hard. If it's not hard for you, then you didn't really do shit.

What is First Sun? First Sun is a band I made 8 years ago, and was focused on pushing messages of personal perspectives. Since then, it has grown quite a bit, but unfortunately I lost my band members. I'm trying to keep First Sun alive until I can make it back to Florida to get things started up again. I am looking for my video tape of our only show, to give an example of how we sounded. If you could mix the old Metallica with Breaking Benjamin and Tool, you'd probably get First Sun.

Why didn't I do this picture myself? I could have easily done this myself, however, I respect other people's work more than my own. I don't think I could do this cover, and be able to live with it. I'd have to make constant changes to it over time, and I don't want that feeling of uncertainty that I didn't get it right.

Except maybe for the font everything is royalty free. Well unless the Earth is copywritten and honestly I'm not sure that it isn't, F*CK'n lawyers.

The boy is mah boy and mah yard. I wasn't sure what you were a' talk'n about so I took a pic out in the yard. Just got lucky that some weird cosmic shit was a go'n on at the time.

Also, I know the concept has probably been done and the fine folks here at n00bfest will point it out but I gotz to work with what I gotz.

what do you want you logo to look like? and what do you want it to say, just First Sun and mind under matter?

besides the fact the guy is moaning like he just blew his load, this is an EXCELLENT source for reference. of what it should look like!

Also, keep in mind the color of the sun as it comes back out, it's completely blinding white! There are no light rays at all.
