Saw it a long time ago. Good documentary for sure. The music in it is amazing -- where Hank III plays guitar and sings and Jesco taps for percussion. That shit's incredible.

HankIII is probably my all time favorite musician. When I seen your facebook post I was extremely jealous. I've patiently been waiting for him to drop into Michigan when I can go.


I got turned on after listening to some old GG Allen stuff. Love all of HankIII, punk, rock/metal & country. I have everything this man has done. I had a tshirt until I ate some cheeseburgers and it no longer fit.


Some friends of mine were going through my iPod and seen his name. They were like, "WTF! There is no such thing as HankIII." I played something off of every album and they all went home and downloaded everything he has.


HankIII regularly plays on my laptop at my desk. Officers will drop in and look at me funny. I don't turn it down.


I'm sure the Wonderful Whites of West Virginia sparked some more popularity, it was a great documentary.

My understanding is that this song was written for GG Allen which his life directly represents the lyrics.
