 Wuthering Heights
Old book, thinking of reading it. I heard it's REALLY good and well known.
Let's see if it lives up to its comments by people.
"who reads these days"
Answer: The educated.

i never read 1984 in school, so for some odd reason, I decided to read it for leisure (which happenes very rarely) and i actually enjoyed it. It's a sad story with a sad ending, but i enjoyed it...

I also decided against reading it in class, but took part in so many discussions related to the book I know all about it.
Amazing storyline / theme, and based on my other Orwellian experience (Animal Farm), I'd guess it's well written also.

Tried to read it for school. Got bored half way through and cliff-noted the rest. Then again, I really don't like reading too many books.
I'd take State's advice, Catch-22 is the shit.
