My mother for the past week has been asking for me to make a list of games I want for Christmas, specifically for the PS3 I will be receiving this Christmas time. I've been mainly PC gaming for the past 2 years and really haven't paid attention to consoles both their hardware and features and the games that come out for them; so maybe some of you can help me come up with some titles to ask for.

Resistance 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 and LittleBigPlanet is all I can think of, trying to remember the racing game. Was Motorstorm:Pacific rift or something.

MG4 looks beautiful; is it just as good if I have no clue about the past games?

The ones Dieus said, add fallout 3 to the mix and your set.

End War looks pretty hot but i never played it. not sure if it is for ps3 even, just seen the commercial for it, cod4 is hot too. personally if i play ps3 or ps2 i like playing the madden games or sports games, other than that i stick to CSS

ok, i have a buddy at blockbuster who gives me games early so, i have played a lot of the games, even if i only have like 40 mins of gameplay

- GTA 4
- MGS 4 (it is pretty confusing if you haven't played any of the other games. So rent it first)
- Resistance 2 (where all teh multiplayer action is at)
- Little Big Planet (Best game. It is so addictive and the replay value is great. Its not just for kids.)
- Far Cry 2 (i bought far cry because i like the idea of a shooter in africa)
- Fallout 3 (only get it if you like RTS that are long as hell. Not scary)
- Bioshock (Lot of good reviews. I hate scary games, so i haven't played it).

main thing of the PS3 is that the PSN is awesome. It is not shitty like Xbox fanboys say.

Uncharted is also a great game. Best graphics out there for consoles.

There is nothing wrong with it, but I rarely buy things off of it, but it is great for demos and videos.

yeah, i mean its not that bad.. but its no xbox live.. especially with the update we get in like a week.

yeah, i mean its not that bad, but its no steam client service for online gaming, with the updates you get it running, but i hate when it bugs do.

XBOX live is good because people pay for it. Playstation has a pretty good system for being free, it shows they care.

yeah uncharted is a cool game and has lots of trohpies if you like to collect them . Trohpies are like gamerpoints on 360. Far cry 2 is fun Pure off road is fun. MSG4 is good enough if you havent played the others you will just not understand some parts .
