Yeah. From what I understand, a freezer is harder to open from the inside than it is from the outside.

cuz it creates an airtight seal to keep air out and the handle on the out side gives u leverage to break the seal

And yeah, it would be a lot worse than you think. Residential freezers don't flash freeze (it'd take way too much energy), so it would slowly freeze, allowing the H20 molecules in the our bodies to crystallize into ice, ripping the shit out of our innards. |
