I know it is not the name (tried normal names) or the ping (it was at 67) So i'm not sure as to why this is happening. I also uninstalled everything completely and reinstalled it to no avail. Steam ID: 0:0:14934391

Does anybody know what could be happening? He's still getting auto-kicked =(

It kept happening to me after i reinstalled steam, I fixed it by goin to another server changing my name. Then when i tried to connect to the n00bfest server again I had no probs, and I havnt had any since.

when i installed css like 4 days ago my name was the default name so i guess there was so kind of security and it kicked me..

when i changed my name to [n00b]Deathtaker' it autokicked me again..so i took off the ' and put it back on when i got in the server.

have u downloaded anything else other tahn the original source files? try deleting those

also try defaulting your whole config

i would try going in under a different name. for example, if i try to join the server under the name "unnamed" it will autokick me

Well I haven't donwloaded any files and I have tried the name thing. How do I reset my config file?

Ok this is what I'm getting now that I've reinstalled everything. I tried deleting the config file but it didn't work. I can't even find the userconfig.cfg

Try uninstalling, your games as well as steam. When its uninstalled delete the folders such as Steam, and w/e css is under, in your program files. (make sure its uninstalled)

Then try a reinstall

Deleted the maps but still same thing. Steam hates me or something.

This is some crazy shit! Still getting autokicked when I disabled autokick to see if it solved the problem.

I think in the main menu of source..there's a report a bug link that you can click and describe your problem

Me and another freind had the same problem. is it only noob fest u cant connect to cuz if u get the same error for other servers then its your video card. Then check and make shure your video card is upto date to play. For some reasons steam doesnt like certain video cards and make shure your runnning it on the right Directx. then run the video stess test to make shure its working.

Yeah its just n00bfest server. I'm going to submit a bug report when i get home from school.

Good news. I got to play on the server today. Hopefully this isn't a one time fluke.
