 In the 12 years...
I have lived in Southern Arizona I have never seen it snow more than 3 times in my city and actually stay on the ground for more than 3 minutes. Last night it snowed constantly and actually stay on the ground. It is so surreal to see and my school districts here are all having snow days. I have never had a snow day in my life.

That would have been my senior year and I don't remember anything about that. 1995 - 2002 is a bit fuzzy.
But I do know as a child, we only had a few snow days. It has to be at least 8-12" and blowing or very icey. I heard in Texas they closed down stuff for 3". That's a dusting in Illinois, and less than that farther north.

In my 16 years of living in Toronto, Canada, I've seen it snow countless times, and I've never actually had a snow day. :\

That's because like Virginians, and New Yorkers (Pennsy drivers just can't drive period)most people in NJ can't drive for crap. We'll probably have one of those Winters where it is cold as anything, then in late Feb, early March we get a blizzard that we are digging out for a day or two. My snowblower is gassed, oiled and ready to roll. So Mother Nature bring it on!

Thanks all and it was awesome. Very rarely do I actually get snow and for hours. Even though it was only about 3" that is a lot for Southern Az and there was a ton of ice on the roads. It was a pretty awesome day.

in my fancy 16 years of living in Los Angeles, i have never seen or felt it be as cold as it was in the past 2 weeks, it even caused there to be frost on cars and grass, but, there was no official snow, and i was sad. but i did hear there was some snow in Malibu actually

Crappy snowblower if a newspaper can waste it. What do you break?? the crank?? Two years ago my blower scooped up on of those weekly freebie papers, it spit most of it out, but busted one of the shear bolts on the auger. Had it back up and within 20mins.
