well i can easly say that is it tech due to the fact that we (humans) will not see aliens for a realy long time/if we see them. if you think about it why whould aliens only go to area 51 what makes that place the only place they would land? there is no stoping an alien (if they are there) from going off and landing in california/mexico/anywhere else in the world...and if they do go off and land somewhere else what are we going to do to the advanced race of beings poke them with sticks?

Area 51 is an Airforce base to test new shit that just keeps getting more and more secret. If you dont have a high clearance in the military you will never know what is going on there so why even bother to think about it ? Thats my output on it. I watched a private investigation on it last night. U cant even get within 10miles of that place w/o being arrested. And the goverment has private planes that fly the employees from around las vegas to area 51 which is like 100 or something miles away.
