ok tonight i went to the alice in chains concert in the local venue and it F*CKING rocked.


hurt (the band thats oppening for them) did a 45 min set. ive never listened to them before but they gave an awsome preformance, ima have to get their cd one way or another.


after them alice came out and played for almost 2 hours. aside from time spent with my girlfriend (when i had one mind you) it was the best F*CKING 2 hours of my life. they started off with "again" and finished up with "would"

starts of heavy, then they played some of the more mellow (if thats even the word to use) songs. then back to heavy to finish the set off.


if there is a show near you its worth every bit of the ticket price and then some. you wont be disapointed

lmfao, I went to a couple kickass concerts you would've liked.

Taste of Chaos in particular I'll have to tell you about.

Hometown Bash was good, they had 5 decent bands and in between sets they had Linkin Park on the speakers. There was lots of theivable beer, the X-Box Bus and bitches galore.

That's what i wanna know also How was the new singer that did he sound anything like Layne? I think the singers name is William Duvall? He sang for the band Comes with the Fall.

be honest i was impressed with william duvalls preformance. its the closest match with layne's voice ive ever herd. no one will ever sound 100% like him but damn, in a lot of the songs i had a hard time telling them apart.


it also helped that jerry cantrell is still doing the backup vocals like he always did so that voice stood the same.



like i said it wasnt layne but holy F*CK that guy could sing
