But you did feel the need to make fun of his "common sense". He's fine, just young. I'm not one to really stick up for these kids, but he's been fine to me, so I'll be his backbone for a bit.

I was not making fun of his common sense. I understand he's young, but he's not 2. Were those guys in the right for flaming him? No. Was he wrong for making the post in general? Yes. Is it a huge deal he did it? No. I tried to teach Deagler how to not take a flaming, not put a bottle in his mouth and lay him in his crib. If he's deemed old enough to be on these forums, then we need to show him the way, not clear a path for him. We can try to help him be one of the fella's, or we can put a bubble around him and make him feel more ostracized than I'm sure he feels at times. I have no problems with the Deag. The idea of a guide for forum etiquette was a totally serious idea, and could help a lot of people. All I tried to do is help him, and I did it by telling the truth as I saw it.
