Post CSS Black Market Weapon System
For those that still think CSS is leet, it's just another update not to play.

Deagle is supposed to shoot up to $930! You can't even buy that on pistol round. I guess they're trying to make people buy some of the other shit weapons.

Post Touche' Steam
Dont bash it yet newbs, Especially if any of you play RPG's that have inflation factored into it. I.E. Guild Wars/ WoW / EverQuest so on.....

What Steam is doing is quite extrordinary(spellcheck) because until now, weapons were based off fictional prices made up from the original creators of HL 1.

Their idea here is that it will keep people from gaining that extra edge over others because they studied the exact prices and know exactly what to buy when each round comes. It's Ingenuis,
They have not only made Source Lifelike in the Physics' realm, but they have also made it realistic in the modern day trade of weapons.

For Example, when I came back from the sandbox in 04' I bought a Colt AR-15 for 1100 dollars including a military discount, right now you can buy an Armalite AR-15 (not as good as Colt, but not bad either) for less than 800 dollars.

What Steam has done is revolutionized the art of modern day 1st person shooters.
Bottom Line is that Steam isnt going to halt what they are doing just because you dont like RL getting into your Cyber Life, just like everything else, either go with what the future holds or stand in the background holding onto the past.

That (steam's update) is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Basically what you're saying is that people who are good and know what to do can now get gayed by newbs because they have to re-figure-prices-out.

Changing the buying in a video game might be realistic if they did it based on the demand AND SUPPLY. Seeing how supply is unlimited, their economic factors are completely useless. Not to mention that it only decreases the prices of other shit weapons to make people buy shit weapons instead of the m4/ak/deagle.

If they simply stated that they were changing the prices to a new FIXED scale, I wouldn't think so poorly of the idea. But I already stopped playing Source over 3 months ago...

What they have done is taken a game that sucked and made it worse.

first off why are counter terrorists supplying(sp) there own weapons, so if it does anything, it just makes it more unrealistic.
