Second, High, LoL on the .22 sniper rilfe! I have never heard of anyone calling a .22 a sniper rifle, come to think of it I have never seen anyone using a .22 as a sniper rifle. Unless of course it is of "COMPETITION USE" in which case I am douche bag. Oh yeah and how do you like your Sig's? My aunt has a P229 in 380 I think? Just wondering, the only thing that stops me from getting one is the price.

i say sniper rifle to make it seem like its bad ass.. my dad put this massive scope on it. i just put a bunch of rounds in the clip and shoot it as fast as possible. i can go through 45 rounds in about 30 seconds. its accurate as F*CK, light as F*CK and makes no noise. ill try to get a pic.

Sure its accurate, but not as powerful as you might need. Not saying you use it to kill people with it but if you had to a .22 would only piss certain people off.

If you knew anything about assassinations (especially urban gang/mafia assassinations), you'd know that 9 times out of 10 a .22 was used. Do you know why? Because they have an extremely high muzzle velocity and they're the easiest weapons to silence. If you put a .22 cal pistol in someone's chest and pull the trigger in a car with the windows rolled up, the guy in the next car won't hear shit. If you're using a .22 cal rifle, you can lob a shitload of bullets in the same direction (due to the very limited recoil) with very little sound being made (and sound being easy to prevent as these weapons don't take much to silence them).

A .22 round to head or the right part of the body is definitely enough to kill anyone. They look small, but the M4, M16, and even the M249 SAW (para in CS) have bullets that are almost the exact same size in diameter, and not that much longer.

I'm not saying it can't kill someone (even though I did) its just not often refferd to as a "sniper rifle". Its just my point of view, if ima gonna snipe some one out ima go big, real big. They are easy to silence/conceal and I do know for a fact that it was a frequently used caliber by mafia members/gangs due to how the bullet itself (once it enters the body) breaks up when it hits bones, thus causing a shrapnel like effect on the inside of the chest, or my favorite the skull.

Also, .22 cal weapons aren't subject to ballistic fingerprinting either - since the round does indeed break up like it does.
