 Hey, old people.
Where can I get some decent morning news at 6 AM? I tried all the major news channels and it just seems like one big shitfest after another of morons insulting my intelligence with their dumbass conversations.
I just want some news. Jesus Christ. Any of you old folks want to let me in on the secret?
Basically if you're younger than 25, possibly 35, please don't post in this topic because you don't know anything and your opinion doesn't matter and/or count and I don't want to have to trudge through your stupid shit before I can get to the meat of the target audience's wisdom.

News is bad, you better go for the local news. Stay away from CNN and other crackwhore stations.

Yeah....most news stations are nothing but bullshit, "You can be at risk for death because of your breathing! More after the break!" Then, it ends up being something having NOTHING to do with you getting sick or something like that. I watch other stuff until the weather comes on, then i watch the weather to see what its going to be like tomorrow and go to bed. As for you getting news, yeah...i'd rather get my news from the local guys, or like evil said, browse Yahoo or MSN pages in the morning. That's what i do at work.

Not that you have to be old to know about good news :? , but I believe http://news.bbc.co.uk is a fairly reliable source. Firefox users usually have a 'Latest Headlines' hotlink in the top left corner that updates regularly to the days top news stories.
Edit: If you're talking about good news at 6AM on television, I don't think that exists yet.

The fact that you consider yourself a future leader of America upsets me. I hope by "America" you mean "Central America."
Go lead Panama. If you're not fit to lead a counter-strike clan well enough to keep it together for more than two months, you're definitely not the kind of guy I'd like to see with any sort of power in the the United States Government.

And, yes...because you are younger, you are dumb. Only you, though.

man just read from a variety of sources, you'll generally get more truth out of many places than just one.

Everything broadcast over the airwaves is going to have a modicum of infotainment and idle banter to boost ratings (I guess). If your not happy with the boobtube news in the morning I'd suggest surfing the AM radio dial.

 yeah Kitten
I feel ya man I got the same way. I stick to reading the news now on yahoo insider, cnn.com, and other such sites.
I also watch headline news in the mornings when I wake up, gives a very broad base of news (even though it repeats itself a lot sometimes) but at least there isn't a lot of overpaid cheesedicks trying to give me thier opinion of what's happening around the world.
