I feel like I'm missing some... ughhh I don't know what it is but women lyricist are so black and white for me. Either hate them or love them, and I've yet to find one i love. Deltron 3030 sounds bad ass, too bad there will never be a rap album with a Rambo/predator concept ;~: Tazzaler wrote: your rap list is better in reverse deuce
F*CK Kanye I don't gotta even speak up for Kanye, I'll let all the charts and ratings speak. As for MF DOOM and Madlib's album, F*CK your self with a toilet plunger nigga, Madvilliainy is at it's rightful spot. http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/5579-madvillainy/http://www.metacritic.com/music/madvillainy/madvillain

The charts are more of a "who's record label has the most money" than it is about the music. Especially as far as rap goes, the only mainstream rapper I care for is Jay-Z, and he's losing his touch man Oh and Kanye is a horrible person, do not support him, even if it's pirated you're still supporting him, I don't care how good his music is, it's about morals. Oh and as far as your thing about female rappers, I totally agree, but this chick is it, she's more of a poet than a rapper.

Re: ITT: TOP 5 RAP ALBUMS
Good thread idea. This would be my Top 5 (not in order):
36 Chambers Reasonable Doubt Illmatic Tha Carter (Yes, Lil Wayne is shit now. This was in 2004 when he still rapped) Graduation (Kanye can rap. He's not the best lyricist but his production is great and I respect the fact that he's always pushing the envelope and trying to do something different, as showcased in Yeezus)

Grad and 808s are good, a lot of people think those are his worst dunno Illmatic has like only 3 songs i like and one song that i cannot stand. One love has such a great beat, but I F*CKING hate the, thinks it's the chorus, the annoying repeating "One love". who ever voiced that line should have been pulled. also, people listen to Ye for his lyrics? I think you guys are doing it wrong, thats like listening to AnCo for it's lyrics. Listen to Ye for his production ffs.

nothing should be above 36 chambers.... I threw those there to show you the critical acclaim that DOOM had, only way to show in an objective manner why i think it's my #1. but then again this is a subjective medium so cool

Yeezus really isn't anything to write home about. And this is coming from a big fan of 808's and heartbreak. The album was lazy at best.
