Post Quarter-tone pieces by Charles Ives
Charles Ives is one of the best composer that lived in America. I'll post 2 of his masterpieces (the 2nd is my favorite though) that are still really known today! If you want to know more about him... F*CKING type Charles Ives on google god damn it.

3 Quarter-tone pieces. It is a bit freaky when you first hear it, but seriously, this is Art for real!

And I thought about posting my personal favorite piece by Charles Ives : The unanswered question. Here's quick explanation of this masterpiece. We should see this as a trumpet asking the eternal question of life, and the flute and the woodwinds giving an answer, but everytime losing patience, just like the human. Finaly, when the trumpet asks the question for the last time, the chords just keep playing with a constant decrescendo, until we hear nothin', which is the actual answer to the trumpet's question.

That is some really good music, take the time to understand the art in these sounds, try to understand the story too. We studied Charles Ives in my Musical Literature course, and that is one of the best thing I've learned so far in this course. Hope you enjoyed it!
