Re: The Sword Tres Brujas (Studio Version) New album Warp Ri Just picked up the album today and giving it my first listenthrough. At first i was disappointed with the new single as it sounded a little to 70's hard rockish to me and not enough hobbit-core doom riffing. The last couple weeks though I found myself listening to it over and over and it was singing it in my head.
So far the album is pretty awesome and is a lot heavier and more groove based than the single and it seems like a pretty seamless transition from their previous albums. There is less really heavy riffing than on the 2 previous albums but theres a lot more of the groovemetal/stonermetal sound than ever before. The riffs on this album are really F*CKING awesome. /inhaling deeply of the sacred smoke |
