Hey,
are there any Vinyl users here? Just wondering how many of you are obsessed with audio quality like me :)

I have a rather cheap turntable... bought it on a tight budget. It's the Audio Technica AT-PL120 and sooner or later I'd like to buy the TehnicksMK2000 or whatever it is.

And that records / setup to you guys have?

To name a few of my favorites:
Rise Against - Appeal to Reason
Bullet for my Valentine - Fever
Rage Against the Machine - Renegades
Bad Religion - Punk Rock Song (EP)
Hollywood Undead - Swan Songs
The Black Keys - Brothers

i LOVE vinyl. It is definately one of the greatest audio formats around. Instead of owning a PICTURE of the soundwave, you own THE SOUNDWAVE! xD I love it. I've got about 60 releases on vinyl, all drum n bass. I've got a pretty mediocre setup, but it works for me. 2 direct drive numark 1625s, and a behringer dx052 mixer (that is damn near falling apart.)

If your interested in checking out my collection, you can view it here: http://www.discogs.com/collection?user=McFarenblaster

Nice collection - not really my style (never really got into dnb), but nice size, you know? Records, sadly, are not cheap.

Never thought of it that way... I just enjoyed the superiour quality and the physical motion of the turntable (I like to see things in action). Guess that explains why it's so much better, and needs an amp :)

I might start putting my stuff onto discogs... but you can see more stuff I like on my What.CD profile, if you have it, I'll link you.

no, they are not cheap at all. usually about 5-10 bucks per plate. >.< In my opinion its worth it though.

i dont have a what.cd profile, just the discogs. its one of my favorite websites. i've found so much good music on there. my 'wantlist' is over 1200 releases and counting. xD I also love how you get frequent emails telling you when people are selling stuff on your wantlist. I've found some really good deals on there.
